First Year
This first year was one of exploration, falling back on my parents and old friends when I needed to have an actual conversation beyond name, major, and how school was going, taking walks around campus, finding little nooks and crannies that became my favorite places on campus, and slowly but surely, finding my way, meeting people, feeling more confident and comfortable in where I was going.
By the end of the year I had an internship, and while the transition from having all the free time in the world to suddenly having 15 hours less of it was rough and resulted in a very poor midterm grade, I learned how to work and go to school at the same time and do well at both of them. |
